Sup, ishes? It seems that in the summertime, I tend to lean towards smoothies for lunches! I wanted to share some of my go to summer smoothies! I am always shocked by how satisfied a smoothie can be, especially in the heat of summer!
You can use any blender. I'm pretty attached to my Blendtec because I can use it for soups and even making nut butters. But, if you're only looking for smoothies, then I also have used this one.
Green Detox Smoothie
I have to start with my favorite one! Don't let the detox word scare you. This smoothie is EVERYTHNG. Like, enter allllll the praise hands here! Every person that I've share this recipe with agrees! Don't believe me, try it for yourself and thank me later!
Aloha Pineapple Smoothie
Shut the front friggin door! Nothing screams summer like pineapple! For this one, I sub Kite Hill yogurt to keep it dairy free and paleoish!
Strawberry Mango Smoothie
I love how light and sweet the combo of strawberries and mangoes are! It just tastes like summer!
Raspberry and Mango Sunrise Smoothie
So, I'm not a raspberry lover normally but this smoothie is so easy and refreshing!
Peanutbutter Banana Smoothie
If fruity isn't your fave, then you'll love this peanut butter smoothie! I freeze the bananas. I don't know about you, but I ALWAYS have a banana or two that's getting too ripe, so I slice and freeze them for smoothies. For this recipe I use Kite Hill Yogurt and unsweetened almond milk!
