Hey, Ishes! I get asked A LOT about what you can eat when you are paleo. Without certain snacky type foods that we are used to, sometimes snacking can be hard! So, I want to share my top 5 paleo snacks with you! For this post, I am going to share ones that are pre made. AKA the only work you have to do is hit “submit” on your cart 🙂
Listen. I like food. Well, love food. I am also a snacker. And frankly, fruits and veggies are meh. I love them. But, their place is so not when I am feeling snacky! I like chips and crackers and sweets. Having some staples in my arsenal is so huge for helping me stay on track!
Literally, any day of the week, you can ask me for a beef stick and I will have one in my purse. My friends and colleagues have seen me eating these between classes or before hitting a stage to speak. I could probably live off of them! Even Maleigh, my 4 year old, eats one a day.
Second, these crackers!!!! Guys, every kid in my house like these. So, I order 5 boxes at a time...not even kidding. I eat them plain, dipped in almond butter. Sometimes, I even used to dip in tuna or chicken salad. These crackers are a staple pool day snack for our family!
First off, Mexican food is my top choice for food...every day. Tacos, tortilla chips, salsa, guac, you name it. So, when I am eating strict paleo, I will even put these in a baggie and take them with me to the local Mexican restaurant. No shame in my tortilla chip game! These chips are nice and crunchy, they taste amazing plain and in guac or salsa! Even my husband approves these! The lime are my fave!
#4: Terra Chips
I won’t even pick a favorite kind of these chips. You can’t make me choose! Sweet potato chips...they end up going in my purse to the movies. The original blend...AMAZING. The sweet potato ripples are tasty too! If you are paleoish vs paleo, then the mediteranean are BOMB! My husband got busted eating these the other day. They are a hit in our house!
Oh for the love of friggin brownies! I told you that I like sweets too! This box includes a recipe for brownies and let me tell you. These don’t last long AT ALL in my house! Sometimes, I sprinkle some Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips on top before baking. We all love these!
Paleo can FEEL so restrictive, but these quick snacks makes it feel manageable. These are all portable and delicious. You will learn really quickly that I only eat things that are tasty! Life is too short for bland food!
